Upcoming EventLight the Night for Hope is Light the Way Idaho’s annual rally and fundraiser dedicated to advancing mental health awareness and suicide prevention across our community.
This gathering brings together mental health professionals, community leaders, families, advocates, and local organizations for an evening of education, reflection, and action. Through expert panel discussions, lived experience perspectives, and resource visibility, Light the Night for Hope strengthens protective factors and builds visible networks of support.
More than an event, it is a collective commitment to showing up early, speaking openly, and working together to prevent crisis before it escalates.

What Sets this event Apart
Education That Moves People Forward
Light the Night for Hope is not simply a gathering. It is an educational experience designed to increase understanding and reduce stigma. Through expert panel discussions and lived experience perspectives, attendees leave with practical tools, deeper awareness, and actionable steps for supporting themselves and others.
We prioritize prevention focused dialogue that strengthens protective factors long before crisis escalates.
Visible Community Partnership
This event brings together healthcare providers, nonprofits, educators, advocates, and local leaders under one roof. By making resources visible and accessible, we normalize help seeking behavior and strengthen collaboration across our community.
Prevention requires partnership. Light the Night for Hope makes that partnership tangible.
A Commitment to Ongoing Prevention
Light the Night for Hope is not a one time event. It is a catalyst.
We believe prevention requires consistency, connection, and continued engagement. This gathering serves as a launching point for ongoing education, collaboration, and community action throughout the year.
When we show up together, we build momentum that lasts beyond one evening.

We are proud to partner with Village Boise. As an organization already committed to building connection and strengthening community, Village Boise is doing meaningful work that aligns closely with our mission.
While this is not a Light the Way Idaho hosted event, we invite our community to join us in attending together and continuing the work of connection.
Village Boise is a free community event that brings people together to foster belonging and meaningful connection. As we continue the work of prevention beyond Light the Night for Hope, this gathering offers space to stay engaged, build relationships, and strengthen the fabric of our community.
